Every job starts with a proper bench diagnosis. No guessing, no parts-swapping at your cost.
PCB repair
Burnt traces, lifted pads, cracked solder joints, water and corrosion damage. Boards repaired and properly cleaned, not replaced.
BGA & surface-mount rework
Ball-grid-array reflow, SMD chip replacement, fine-pitch IC swaps. Proper hot-air and reflow station, not a soldering iron.
Capacitor replacement
Failed electrolytics, bulging caps, ESR drift. Matched replacements specified - not the cheapest tube of caps off the shelf.
Trace repair & jumper wires
Damaged board traces rebuilt with proper jumper wire and resin. Where a track is unrecoverable, we fly-wire around it discreetly.
Button, knob & encoder replacement
Sheared volume knobs, worn rotary encoders, broken tact switches, button-pad replacement. Individual parts swapped, not whole boards.
Connector repair
Reflowed and replaced HDMI sockets, USB connectors, RCA jacks, headphone sockets. Genuine or like-for-like parts.

What equipment do you use?
Hot-air rework station, lead and lead-free reflow, ESR meter, scope, signal generator, microscope. The kit you need to do this work properly.
Can you fix a board another shop tried to repair?
Usually yes. We'll assess the current state and tell you honestly whether it's recoverable, and what the cost looks like.
What about VW radio volume knobs?
Yes - that's a job we do regularly. The encoder assembly is replaceable without swapping the whole head unit.
