Do you work on valve/tube amplifiers?
Yes - valve biasing, valve replacement and output transformer fault-finding are routine for us. We work with both vintage and modern valve equipment.
Is a quote always free?
Free initial assessment on most small items. Larger gear (valve power amps, complex receivers) carries a small bench-time charge that's deducted from the final repair cost.
Can you recap an old amp?
Yes. We'll specify like-for-like or upgraded capacitors as appropriate and explain the trade-offs before any work starts.
