HDMI board repair & replacement
Dead HDMI inputs, no-handshake faults, 4K passthrough failure - we replace the dedicated HDMI board or rework the chipset where appropriate.
Power supply faults
Standby loops, won't-power-on, protect-mode lockouts. We rebuild the SMPS, replace failed caps and rectifiers and verify under load.
No-sound diagnostics
All-channel silence, single-channel cut-outs, distortion. Full bench test across all inputs and amplifier stages to pinpoint the fault.
Software / firmware issues
Failed firmware updates, frozen menus, network module faults. We re-flash where possible and fix the underlying hardware cause.
Surround amplifier section
Failed output ICs, blown rail fuses, channel imbalance, thermal cutouts. Real measurements, real fixes.
Standby & relay clicking
Receivers that click on and off, drop into protect, or refuse to come out of standby - usually a known board-level fault we've seen many times.

Before you drop off.
My receiver is in protect mode, is it worth fixing?
Almost always yes. Protect-mode is usually triggered by a short or DC fault that we can isolate quickly. Repair cost is typically 20-30% of replacement.
Do you work on Atmos / 4K receivers?
Yes. Modern Atmos AVRs with HDMI 2.0/2.1 boards are standard work for us. Common HDMI board failures on Denon, Marantz and Yamaha are well-known to us.
Can you fix older receivers without parts?
Most components can be sourced, substituted or harvested. We'll tell you upfront if a unit is genuinely beyond economic repair.
