Car Electronics Repair
ECUs, Logic 7 amps, touchscreens and head units repaired down to component level. Why pay the dealer £4,000 to swap a unit when most faults can be fixed properly for a fraction of the cost?
Common faults we handle in-house.
Every job starts with a proper bench diagnosis. No guessing, no parts-swapping at your cost.
Car ECU repair
Diagnostic codes, immobiliser issues, water damage, capacitor failure - we repair, not replace. Most ECUs come back working for a fraction of dealer prices.
BMW Logic 7 amplifier
Water ingress, blown channels, no-sound faults on Logic 7 systems. Bench-tested and repaired same-day for many jobs.
Touchscreen delamination
Ghost touches, self-pressing menus, image fog. We re-bond and recalibrate touchscreens that dealers want to replace at four-figure cost.
Car radio / head unit repair
Power faults, CD mechanism, display failure, button issues. Audi, VW, BMW, Mercedes, Pioneer, Kenwood and more.
Auto digitiser replacement
Where a screen genuinely can't be reused, we source and fit replacement digitisers and run a full re-calibration.
Knob, button & encoder repair
Sheared volume knobs (VW radios), worn rotary encoders, broken dash controls - we swap the individual part, not the whole unit.
Brands we work on regularly.
- BMW
- Audi
- VW
- Mercedes
- Pioneer
- Kenwood
Before you drop off.
How long does ECU repair usually take?
Most ECU jobs turn around in 2-5 working days once we have the unit. Same-day return is possible on simpler faults if you bring it in early.
Do I need to remove the unit myself?
If you're confident with car electrics, yes. If not, we can recommend a local fitter, or you can bring the car and we'll arrange removal/refit at cost.
What if my fault isn't on this list?
Bring it in or send pictures and the symptoms - we work on a huge range of car electronics and most jobs are variations of the above.
Will a repaired ECU need re-coding?
Usually no - we retain the original calibration data. On rare units that need re-coding we'll tell you upfront.
